Medical Camps
Creating awareness of diseases and health through medical camps
- Medical camps are conducted on a regular basis at our clinics and also at different places in the city to spread public awareness and doing community service.
- Preventive medicines are provided during the time of epidemics. Some of the successful medical camps we conducted in the near time were for Chikungunya and gastroenteritis. In the camps general check ups are done and medicines are given wherever necessary. Our focus is on prevention of illness and health promotion and create awareness.
- Medical camp conducted in Doddanallala village on 16/07/09. Around 300 patients were seen and treated. All villagers were given refreshments. Clothes and household items donated by patients and staff were distributed. It was announced that the services will be provided to the other three villages namely Ummulu, Chikkanallala and Doddadenahalli also.
- Medical camp was conducted at Sanjeevani Nagar on 19/07/09. The camp was organized by Krishna Byre Gowda group. About 400 to 500 patients were consulted and given medicines. This included school children also who were screened for their general health.
- Medical camp was conducted at Agrahara at Jakkur on 20/09/09. Swine flu preventive for 1000 patients were distributed. 400 patients with various health conditions were treated and given medicines. They were made aware of the services of COE.
- Medical camp was conducted at Dusshera pandal on 27/09/09. General check up of about 100 patients were done and medicines were given to necessary patients. The patients were made aware of COE and also our outreach clinic at Udaya Nagar which is situated near to the camp site.
- Free camp at centre of excellence was conducted for one week from 21st to 27th June, 2010. About 224 patients were benefited from this camp. The patients belonged to all age groups and were from poor and lower middle class. 224 patients underwent case study and took homeopathic medicines. Free Diabetic and cholesterol tests were done. Free BP check up was done. Free Spirometry test was done to assess lung capacity of patients with respiratory complaints. Free Yoga and Kriya session was also arranged. About 63 patients attended yoga and kriya session.
